Who is the social things?
My name is Tayla , I am the founder of The Social Things. I have a business diploma and five years industry experience but also a love for the social media world!
To start, at college I studied a business diploma, I left completed my course with distinction*,distinction*,distinction*! So I had my business background and interest start there. Then I have always been the creative type. Back in 2019 I started getting into micro influencing on my personal accounts. I grew Instagram and TikTok to over 100k followers between those accounts! During my time on social media I networked and worked with many brands within the fashion, beauty and wellness industry as well as many others and smaller independent businesses. I know what you need to make it work on social media and the time that is needed to be put into an account. I wanted to step back from my personal accounts and put my knowledge to the best use it can be and help businesses with their socials! This is when The Social Things started, October 2021.
Now i am a social media manager. I do all the daily tasks on the social media accounts, daily engagement work, hashtag research, content creation, planning, bio optimisation and reel work! By the way, REELS are a must! There is also another social media manager apart of the team called Maisie and a content shoot day assistant to attend shots if I am not available!
To conclude, from all my experience Ive had on social media I feel very confident that I get your socials to the next level and to make a strategy that is perfectly suited to you and your business.
